Condolence From: Fiefer
Condolence: I first met this man 45 years ago when we have more hair that wasn't so gray, and more energy that we knew what to do with. After first meeting this man, in a very short period of time, one could only have respect for this kind gentleman. He is known to all as Pat, but to me will be always be known as 'Doc'.
After decades not seeing each other, and meeting once again in calmer conditions, when we met, there was that warm smile, sound hand shake and feeling of respect you once had for him coming back again. He was a person that anyone would be proud to have known in their lifetime.
You will be missed Doc.

Condolence: So shocked to hear about this. As a young engineer, met him first in year 2002 when I joined McD and then spent lot of years interacting with him on Process questions at AMEC. A true gem and always ready to offer help. My deepest condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace.

Condolence From: Cees de Regt
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing.
He was one of the first persons I met when I was interviewed for a job at AMEC in Houston, more than seven years ago. I will nor forget the warm impression he gave of the company and your country. I worked with him on and off until I left AMEC. I have enjoyed his sense of humour and slight quirkiness, and esteemed his ever present professionalism. Last year when I left AMEC it was clear that his health was deteriorating; but still his loss comes as a shock. Even more shocking is that not so long ago another ex-colleague from AMEC died under very similar circumstances (this was in Aberdeen, UK).
I wish you all the best and hope you find the strength to continue without him.

Condolence: It gave me great pleasure to read all the tributes to Pat. I have many fond memories from working with him at Hudson, and as a fellow Rice engineer. Dawn, my prayers are with you. Enjoy your memories of a find man who was your loving husband.

Condolence From: Wayne Marquis and Janet Janisch
Condolence: What a shock to hear of Pat's passing. Janet and I both worked with him over the years at AMEC Paragon. Pat was one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and professional engineers we had the honor to know and work with.
I (Janet) remember his expression when I told Pat my son had a full scholarship to Rice. His face lit up so bright and he told me of his past experience at Rice and how happy he was for me and Bobby my son.
The world has lost a very fine individual. You will be missed.

Condolence: Pat and I were co-workers at Hudson/McDermott for many years, he was masterful as a process engineer and a role model employee. He was at ease solving complex problems or mentoring a new engineer. He will be missed....RIP

Condolence From: Carol
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Patrick. I just lost a love one just this Monday passed, I know the void feeling and the asking of questions, but I do find comfort in prayer asking for help for the hurt I am feeling. We can help each other heal. I don't know if you are a reader of the scriptures, but they do help ease the pain of hurt. Please read 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reading this did ease my pain and I hope it does the same for you also.
