Cassandra “Cassie” Dale Boyd Ainley (64 years old) was called to her eternal home on May 28, 2018, after a brief illness. Cassie was born in Houston, Texas, on November 9, 1953. She attended Roberts Elementary, Pershing Junior High, and Lamar High School in Houston. She lived in League City, Texas, at the time of her death.
Cassie had been blessed with a beautiful soprano voice. She sang in Mixed Chorus at Lamar High School and also was in a folk group in the early 1970s singing in Coffee Houses at churches.
Cassie is survived by Sara Beth Teel (daughter), Renee Boyd Baker and Bruce Baker (sister and brother-in-law), Stephanie and Kevin Jenkins (niece and her husband), Karen and Trevor Lancon (niece and her husband), Adam Cook (nephew), Charlotte Jenkins (grandniece), Elizabeth Boyd (stepmother), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends who loved and cared for Cassie very much.
Cassie was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Ann Maxey Boyd, her father, W. Dale Boyd, and her sister, Ann Marie Boyd Cook.
Graveside services will be held on June 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, Texas.
