Fay Jahnke was born in Liberty, Texas on March 24, 1918. She departed this Earth, after living and loving for 100 years, on April 28, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Jahnke, Jacquelyn Lauman and son-in-law Gary Lauman.
Fay was so proud of her six grandchildren: Deborah Powell, Randy Lauman, Matt Jahnke, Susan Bailey, Brian Lauman, Cristin Matthews and loved them fiercely. She was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren who were the loves of her life. She enjoyed sending them cards and being invested in their lives and activities. Fay was a fisherman and could always be found on the pier at their house on Lake Livingston. She was also known for her ability to bring in the crabs and cook up a mean pot of gumbo. Fay was always an independent and feisty woman. She will be missed by her family and friends.
