Don Ward Needham, born June 2, 1940 in Jewett, Texas to Ona and Wilburne Needham, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2017. He was a huge sports fan, his favorite teams being the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and the Oilers. Don was employed for many years with Beck and Masten Automotive and always enjoyed driving and taking trips. He also enjoyed smoking briskets for family gatherings. Don is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Gage Needham and their two children, Donna Needham Valdez and her husband Michael and David Needham and his wife Ginger. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Danielle and Michael Valdez and Lindsey, Jason, and Kaci Needham, as well as his Aunt Frances Butler and numerous cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
