Kendra was born in Houston on September 2, 1991. She graduated on May 11, 2014 with an Associate of Science degree with the Highest Honors from Houston Community College. Her current career path was as a master baker/chef/manager at a few restaurants in the Houston area. She was excited about and really enjoyed her line of work.
Kendra leaves the following line of immediate relatives: George Harrington – grandfather, Pat Harrington – grandmother (d), William Dean – grandfather (d), Beatrice Dean – grandmother, Kevin Harrington – father, Cynthia Harrington – mother, Shaina Harrington – sister, Aaron Harrington – nephew, Kyle Harrington – uncle, Kirk Harrington – uncle (d), Billy Dean – uncle, Karen Streleck – aunt, Sandra Busto – aunt, Anna Aguirre – aunt, and finally cousins George, Augie, Natasha, Kristina and Candace Harrington, Justin, Jon and James Streleck, Laurie Gonzalez, Lloyd and Robert Parish, and DJ and Lynn Busto.
When she was very young, she was active in gymnastics and enjoyed competing. Kendra was an avid fan of music, and during her school years she liked to play the clarinet and guitar. Always active in school, not only did she excel in grades, she participated in many school functions and parades. She was a girl scout for many years and a member of the Starletts marching group. She liked hiking in the mountains, and other outdoor activities such as the beach and tubing in the rivers in central Texas. She had many friends, and enjoyed music and dancing with them.
She was proud of herself and her accomplishments, and very few times would she accept, let alone ask, for anything from anyone.
We will miss her, and the hurt we feel for our lost baby daughter is lessened only by the fact that we know she is happy where she is now at and we will see her again.
