Condolence: I remember Karen as a sweet girl with a warm smile when we were childhood neighbors on Dafney in Lafayette. Although we lost touch ages ago, I am sad to hear about this loss. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Condolence: I worked at a mortgage company with Karen for a few years in the early 80's. She attended my wedding and was a presence in my life during my child rearing years. She was a light to others...always had a smile, kind, considerate, and never said an adverse thing about anyone. We lived in the same neighborhood for years and I watched her children grow...with complete adoration in her eyes for them and I always admired Karen's beautiful talent for decorating and fashion.
I know Karen is healed and reunited with her loved ones in Heaven under the wings of her precious God. Sadness is only for this side of Heaven and I am feeling so very sad today. Cancer is the long goodbye, so I know her close friends and family were able to leave nothing left unsaid. But, I am wishing for just one more conversation with her today. I would tell her how much I loved her as a human, a dear "old" friend and a great example of what a Christian looks like.
