Condolence: I knew Lucy through Strings and Things. There I heard her tell about how she had taught children with special needs to play piano. When our fiddle player was retiring, Lucy brought a violin to Strings and Things. She had played in her youth and she relearned again for us. Lucy and Larry were so well paired and their talents complimented each other. I offer my sympathy to the family and share in the feeling of loss.

Condolence: It was such an honor to be able to know and play music with Lucy. She was a delightful person and a very strong willed lady. She carried on with her life, even though she knew she had a serious health issue. She told me she’d rather be out playing her music than sitting at home waiting to die. What an inspiration she was. Grateful she is no longer suffering and is home in the loving arms of God. Prayers for her grieving loved ones.
