Carolyn Green went to be with the Lord and Savior on September 20, 2018. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK, but grew up most of her life in the Spring Branch area of Houston. She graduated from Spring Branch High School and worked most of her years for Spring Branch ISD. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and is survived by her daughters, Cary and Terri, and her beloved grandson Mitchell. Carolyn, also known as Mimi, was an incredible mother and grandmother who always and whole-heartedly supported her children and grandson in whatever they did. Carolyn was an avid Houston Texans fan and Astros fan, and she loved to travel to different places with her friends and enjoyed her mother/daughter trips. She would like to thank her Memorial Church of Christ family and all of her amazing friends and family for being such a special and important part of her life. Visitation will be held at Memorial Church of Christ, 900 Echo Lane, Houston, TX 77024, on Saturday, Sept. 22. Viewing will be at 10:00 A.M. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Ally’s House in Oklahoma to help children affected by cancer.
