Carolyn Louise Hunt (Koval) 68 years old passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018. Born in Houston, TX on June 24, 1950 by Ernest and Mary Koval. Carolyn graduated from Waltrip High School in 1968 and worked for Big 3 Industries before marrying the love of her life, Jay Hunt in 1969. They had three children, Julie, Jennifer and Jason who gave them 7 grandchildren. Her love, care and devotion for her family was immeasurable. Carolyn was a people person who loved to laugh. She was very driven, motivated and a hard worker. She had many creative and artistic talents such as painting, stained glass, cake decorations and ceramics. Carolyn was never afraid to try something new or to take on a new project and she was usually successful in all that she did. She also loved to shop and give amazing gifts, especially Christmas for her children. This passion led her into a career in retail management and a home décor business. Carolyn was known for her caring and giving spirit. She was dedicated and devoted to her husband, children and beloved parents. She was selfless and always thought about and put others first. Her heart was full of love for her family and it radiated to all who knew her. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Koval. She leaves behind her husband Jay Hunt, sister Marilyn Newcomer, daughters, Julie Sherber and Jennifer Aune and son Jason Hunt; 7 great grandchildren, Carter Hunt, Kyla Aune, Maggie Hunt, Nolan Aune, Reagan Sherber, Waylan Aune and Reese Sherber. A visitation is planned for Monday September 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Tuesday September 25th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are Jason Hunt, Carter Hunt, Jason Sherber, Steve Champion jr., John Champion and David Champion.
