Condolence: Dearest Gordon & family, please know Bob & I send our most sincere condolences regarding Sara's passing. I will tell you, it's a tremendous loss for us here, but heaven has surely been made an even better place with her there. I will NEVER forget Sara's sparkling and warm personality, that Texas accent I loved so much, and I know this, nobody made better lists with Sharpies than Sara. What an honor to have known her. Praying for brighter days ahead.

Condolence: Dearest Gordon ~

Doug and I are so deeply sorry and sad to know that Sara lost her battle here and will no longer grace us with her incredible presence. I want you to know how much we love her and we will pray for you throughout the days ahead. You are both loved and Sara’s life will always be a treasure to me.

Condolence: I do not remember not knowing Sara Ellen. We grew up together in Sunday School, played together as children and Sara Ellen and Gordon came to a benefit for me when I was fighting lung cancer. That meant so much to me. She was a inspiration to everyone who knew her. I am at peace knowing Sara Ellen is in Heaven. God, Bless her family!

Condolence: My Aunt Sara was a force to be reckoned with - brains, beauty, wit - she was the full package! What I always admired most about her, though, was her beautiful love for her family - as matriarch, mommy, grandmother and great grandmother Bubbie. This is her enduring legacy - the vast, deep love of her children. And their deep and abiding love for her. She (and Uncle Gordon of course:) raised God-loving and fearing, successful and loving human beings. There’s no greater legacy that anyone could leave. I know that love and belief in eternal life is what is sustaining my dear sweet cousins now. God bless you all!

Condolence: I am the granddaughter and niece of Sara’s dear friends, Bobby and Jerry Beavers and Penny Beavers Harmonson. I am so thankful that the Gordon family came into our family’s lives. As I child, I’ll never forget witnessing not only the incredible true friendship our families had such as the get-togethers, the laughs; rather, it was the infinite love they all have for our Lord Jesus Christ that created a bond that is immeasurable. I want to personally thank Sara and Gordon for praying over me in my hospital bed in Houston two years ago. It was a spiritual moment that I’ve never experienced, and I truly believe that their continued prayer helped me to get well. I am forever grateful for that moment with Sara and Gordon. I am one of the many people that are grateful to have had you in our lives, sweet Sara. My prayers will be upon Gordon and the family during this time. God bless you all.

Condolence From: Anne and Bob Harris
Condolence: Blessings to Gordon and all their families,
We all loved Sara at Northwest Bible Church ... especially her help with the single women, her volunteer work "everywhere", her stylish hair/clothing (same for her handsome husband), her smile, and devotion to helping numerous kids and adults in need! She lived the life of a Christian for sure. Heaven loves having her for sure!

Condolence: Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
