Obituary for Sara Ellen Scheele

SARA ELLEN WALLACE SCHEELE January 8,1945 - May 11, 2018 Sara Scheele, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother went home to Jesus Friday, the 11th of May. Sara loved her Savior and spent much time reading His Word with her family. Her parents were Ned and Natale Wallace. She grew up in Conroe, Texas and lived in the Houston area her entire life. Sara was a very successful ASID interior designer and an Emeritus Registered Interior Designer with The Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. She excelled in every business venture and was very active in her church. Sara lived Proverbs 31:10 – 31, as a spiritual role model for many, opening her home and acting as a surrogate parent to dozens. She committed her time and resources to many as an online missionary with Global Media Outreach, and was an ardent supporter of Village Schools International. She had the charm, poise, beauty of a movie star, having a multitude of friends and admirers everywhere she went. The love that Sara had for her husband and family was unequaled; we all felt her strong steadfast love. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Scheele; daughters, Stephanie & husband Rick Atton, Hope & husband David Harris; her sisters Karen Hunt, Valerie Cree and husband Steve Cree, and Theresa Wallace; and grandchildren: Ned Atton, Will Atton, Paige Atton, Rachel Butler, Lance McDonald and wife Amy McDonald, Darby Harris; great grandchildren: Kenzie Butler, Evan Butler, Lily McDonald, Jasper McDonald; and many other beloved nieces and nephews.

On Monday, May 21st, the Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm and Funeral Service from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery 1101 Antoine & I-10 Houston 77055.
