Obituary for Clinton Janac

Clinton Arnold Janac passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday October 11, 2017. He was born at home on a farm in Snook, Texas on March 8, 1926 to Olga (Macik) and Eddie Janac. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise, brothers Harry Janac, Edgar Janac, sons Clinton Jr. Janac and Stancil Elliot Janac.. He is survived by son David Wayne Janac, brother Chance Janac, sisters Janet Ward, Patsy Hodges and many nieces and nephews.

Proudly he served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Later he married Louise McMillan on September 1, 1951 and raised three sons in Pasadena, Tx. Clinton retired from Shell Oil Corporation as an Instrument Inspector Specialist after 43 years. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed watching the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and saltwater bay fishing. He served as a deacon and active member of West End Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Clinton will always be admired for his dedication to his family and commitment to the church.

Arrangements have been made with Woodlawn Funeral Home in Houston. Visitation will be Monday October 17 from 3 pm to 7pm and memorial service Tuesday 10 am at Woodlawn
