Cecelia Syptak, age 85, passed away and went to be with the Lord September 13, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1931 in Chappell Hill, Texas. On April 19, 1961 she married Wilmont Syptak and they made their home in the Houston Heights and were married for 51 years. She had an unwavering faith in God and enjoyed attending Church. Cecelia had a love of gardening, cooking and baking and cherished the time spent with family and friends playing cards.
She is survived by her son Ronnie and wife Annette, son Donnie and wife Jessica and five grandchildren Jeffrey, Erica, Evan, Matthew and Miles Syptak which she adored and loved them all as only a grandmother can. She is survived by four sisters, Stella Stepanski, Edwina Galick, Dolores Pavlik, Margaret Lee and her Sister-in-law Gertrude Lewandowski. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmont, her parents Henry and Rosalie Lewandowski and her brothers Albin, Florian, Victor, and Zigmond and sister Frances.
Visitation services will be 5pm - 8pm Monday, September 18, 2017 at Woodlawn Funeral Home 1101 Antoine Dr Houston Texas 77055, with rosary services at 7pm. A Christian Burial will be Tuesday September 19, 2017 at 10am; the pallbearers are Mike and Roger Pavilk, Tony Lewandowski, Jeff, Mike, and Randy Syptak.
